how can i wire this so i get 250 watts rms to each sub and make sure i dont ruin anything.is it possible to keep the amp at 2ohms and the subs at 4? or would they both have to go down to 2 ohms? cuz im not sure my subs go down to 2 ohm loads.haha,im no expert so id rather ask then mess with it myself.thanks to anyone who replies,i appreciate it.

if you wire 2 4 ohm subwoofers to a mono subwoofer amp in SERIES they will run at 8 ohms. If you run 2 4 ohm subwoofers in PARALLEL they will run at 2 ohms. as long as the amp can handle a 2 ohm load you will be fine. Series is wired by the positive of the amp to the positive to one sub, the negative of that same sub to the positive of the next sub, and the negative of that sub to the negative terminal of the amp. parallel is wired by both subs positive and negative terminals to the positive and negative terminals of the amp. good luck.
