Message: <blockquote data-quote="James" data-source="post: 2297189" data-attributes="member: 209087"><p>if you wire 2 4 ohm subwoofers to a mono subwoofer amp in SERIES they will run at 8 ohms.  If you run 2 4 ohm subwoofers in PARALLEL they will run at 2 ohms.  as long as the amp can handle a 2 ohm load you will be fine.  Series is wired by the positive of the amp to the positive to one sub, the negative of that same sub to the positive of the next sub, and the negative of that sub to the negative terminal of the amp.   parallel is wired by both subs positive and negative terminals to the positive and negative terminals of the amp.  good luck.</p></blockquote><p></p>
