the problem isn't figuring out what's in it, the trick is figuring out the proportions. you need to get just the right amount of each spice, as compared to the weight of the flour (and anything else it's combined with
 
This guy basically eats a butt load of fast food & then figures out what is in it & puts it on his website www.topsecretrecipes.com there is a KFC section there...I heard him say on a tv interview the 7 secret herbs & spices are very small quantities & what makes it taste so great is copious amounts of MSG
 
11 herbs and spices are in kfc? I grew up in the sixties and even though it has the same flavor, it wasn't as greasy back then because they had a different method of cooking it. But surely someone has to know what's in that recipe!
