With rogers pay as you go, can you get the 2500 texts for 10 dollars?

i just got a gsm phone off ebay and i dont want to sign up for a plan, i am using this phone mostly for texting and apr. 50 min a month. I dont want to pay 15 cents a text becaused id pay probably 300 dollars for it and was wondering if there was a way.
