...being in the kitchen? I think it's downgrading, you must get really sick and tired of it, how do you deal with it?

Only women answer please, thank you for answering.

It's old so it honestly doesn't even bother me any more. I see it on here so much I just have to laugh at it.

am actually suprised they haven't come up with a way of linking rape, the kitchen, periods, sluts, lesbians and feminists that can be the troll challenge for the day.

Its really stupid considering how little time I actually spend there.
And I don't make sandwiches ever, I prefer baguette with cheese or bruschetta.

sorry im a guy but i understand ur where ur coming from. every time my friends do the "stay in the kitchen" or "make me a sandwich" joke, i honestly think its beyond the limit for sexist; yet i see this all the time.

i know the history of feminism, because i took a 5 on ap world last year and am taking ap us. But i think its wrong to put down a whole sex, race, or group based on the past. women are becoming more prevalent in todays society as they occupy the jobs and gain rights that only men had in the past. they obviously proved themselves worthy to perform most of the things men deemed impossible.

I guess men are just trying to rebel; they want to feel priveleged and more and more, they are losing this feeling. a historical example of this would be the development of patriarchal culture after the neolithic revolution. before agriculture, most societies were hunter/gathering societies, where the men did manly things like hunt animals, make weapons, and provide for the family. however, with the development of agriculture, many of the tasks that signified masculinity were abolished in favor of a more sedintary, stable lifestyle. this is when men developed the culture of superiority over women; in order to preserve their sense of superiority, they placed limits all over the place what women couldn't do.

i guess men are just ignorant. but i love you gals. (i swear im not gay)
