I'm thinking of downloading the Woolworths android app, but i'm just wondering about the permissions that come with every app.
The woolworth app comes with a few but these are just the ones i'm worried about:
Storage:
Modify/delete USB storage contents.
Allows an app to write to USB storage.
Services that cost you money:
Directly call phone numbers.
Allows the app to call phone numbers without your intervention. Malicious app may cause unexpected calls on your phone bill.
Network communication:
Full internet access.
Allows an app to create network sockets.
Hardware controls:
Take pictures and videos.
Allows app to take pictures and videos with camera. This allows the app at any time to collect images the camera is seeing.
Now should i be worried by these or any other permissions needed to download an app?
