workout supplements for a newbie?

I work a 12 hour shift lifting 25 pound parts about every 3 min. I run a lot throu out the night and I'm 19. I want to know if I could add a muscle supplement like that muscle pharm assault to my "work out"? I want something that will build muscle but won't make me crash. I am in good shape, I just want to get some muscle. I've never used anything like this before so the more info the better. Thanks in advance
