would 6000mg of nicotine kill a rhino?

this is for a book im writing & im trying to be as realistic as possible so my question is this:

would 6000mg of nicotine injected via a dart-kill a 5000-6000lb rhino?

& for gods sake i have no intention of doing this & am not any kind of anti-smoking person.
lethal dose for 50% of non smokers is 50mg.

i figure thats 50mg for 250lb of person, but i heavy smoker in the right circumstance can probably take 3-4 times that.

so what i did was go over that even a bit, & estimate 1mg per pound of animal & a rhino typically weighs 4000-6000lbs.

If it didn't kill the rhino it would for sure mess up his day. Years ago I hauled a tanker load of pure liquid nicotine and I was told that as little as a single drop from an eyedropper on my skin would kill me graveyard dead.
