Would a Chevrolet hhr key fob with remote start work on a Chevrolet cobalt?

My cobalt has factory keyless entry and alarm but I'm wondering if an hhr factory key fob would work on my cobalt

I would certainly hope not, than anyone with an HHR could steal whatever cobalt they wanted. The key fob itself has a sensor that is exclusive to it's car and turns off the security mode when it's near. Then it's a matter of unlocking the column, powering the ignition wire, and jumping out the starter solonoid,,, gone in 60 seconds my friend!

If you took it the dealer and had them re-program it to the Cobalt it would.
