converting to Judaism? Assume they are NOT Christian either.
Wendy's baby bump: the maternal line is considered the one that matters, at least in Orthodox Judaism.
 
answer: the same as someone with no Jewish heritage.

It depends on how much they know and how they were raised. If they were raised in Judaism, they will have an easier time converting officially. If they know next to nothing about Judaism, it'll take a bit longer because there's a lot to learn.
