Would a sudden change in lifestyle cause my period to come twice a month?!?

ALRIGHT so I hate my period...I get super bloated and yeah I hate it. Lately I started exercising a lot more than usual, usually i'd do it maybe a couple times a week..maybe..but now I've been working out sometimes 2 hours a day. And I just had my period last week....but now it's back! WTF??? It makes me gain at leat 2 or 3 pounds! Helpppp
