If your babys PDA has not closed by 3 months and the dr wants it on meds for heart failure you need to get your babies heart fixed. If they can fix my tiny baby's massively complex heart defects at 4 lbs they will do a great job fixing your much bigger babies relatively simple PDA. If your doctor says your baby has heart failure you need to listen and put that baby on meds.heart conditions are serious and you need to listen to your doctor not form your own opinions about weather or not your baby needs corrective surgery and medications, they would not be concerned if it weren't concerning.</blockquote>
