playing basketball? I'm a Junior in high school and am 6'7 and expect to grow to be 6'8-6'9. This previous year I played for my school team and played on the JV squad. I was one of the most reliable players, and only played JV because there were very good posts on Varsity. I will probably start Varsity next year and have only been playing competitively for a few years. I play post but would not mind switching to a power forward if needed. I would prefer a full ride scholarship over just help, but either way works

Yes! You definitely need to get a head start on applying to colleges and getting your name out to college coaches. Even something as simple as emailing them, showing your interest, will go a long way. Small schools may be the way to go. They won't have as many people wanting to go and play there, and you will probably have a better chance of getting a full ride. I played basketball all throughout high school, and due to me emailing coaches at small schools, I got a scholarship. So good luck to you! :)
