I got this home theater system for Christmas... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9856636 ...but the subwoofer is really loud and there's no setting to turn it down, or even off. We live in a pretty small house, and no matter how low I turn the volume (low enough while still being able to hear it at least) the subwoofer disturbs the entire house. Would it damage anything to unplug it. I'm not sure if unplugging it would disrupt any power flow or anything to the rest of the speakers. I tried it and it works, but I don't want to damage the other speakers if too much power is being sent to them because of the subwoofer.
