I have had a bad problem with rats. Now, I hear noises near the vents. Should I hire a pest man to look down the vents with a camera/mirror to see if there is rat/mice debris? or, put a string on a trap filled with peanut butter,open the vent and lower it down to the duct? Or, just throw some moth balls or d-con rat bait down there? I've dealt with this horrible problem-spent thousands in damage from the rats and, now I hear the noises near the vents. 2 months ago, the pest men caught two rats-nothing since. What should I do, please? I've called duct/vent companies-they aren't too keen on coming out and finding rats in the ducts.
