Would rogers charge me for texting in edmonton?

OKay , so i live in toronto , ontario ( canada ) and my cellphone is with rogers and i have the student plann. So , my friend from my school is going to edmonton for 4 weeks and i want to text her . i put her in my " my10 " but will rogers still charge me long distance for texting her on my bill ? shes with koodo btw .
 
of course NOT because i live in vancouver ! my cell phone is also with rogers so we have same situation you can text her UNLIMITED messages it's doesn't matter she's Koo-do or Fido because her number in your "MY10" good luck )
