WTF how do i use this xvid crap?

So I'm on watch-movies.net & EVERY movie I've tried to watch says "you have to download xvid codec to watch this movie". So i did.. & Now wtf i go back to the video and it says the same thing..it won't play. Idk how that works.. if you do please help because this sucks i can't watch movies on there now because of this :/
