xvid! I curse your creator!?

xvid is causing my pc to crash everytime I try to open my music folder. And now its not telling me the error code or anything anymore it just gose away and dosent come back untill I try to open my music folder again. I downloaded xvid 1.1.3 from the xvid.org website but it just sits there with no way of using it execpt the crapy instalation run through which dosent explain anything that a casual pc user can understand so help me out if ya can.

first uninstall the Xvid software/driver or whatever.

download K-lite codec pack and install it....Klite codec pack is great bundle of soft to play every kind of audios, movies and so on you can play Xvids, Divx movies, mov,rm rmvb,vob, and so on with no problem at all and most of all its free and very stable been using it myself for over 5 years now
