From the NHL, here's*the full second-round schedule with dates and times, as well as the national broadcast outlets showing each game.
How are your beards coming along?
• All local television coverage is done for the remainder of the playoffs. The national networks now take over.
• Boy, does the travel in the East pale in comparison to what the West teams will have to deal with, as usual.
• Keep in mind that May 5 is Kentucky Derby Day and the only game scheduled is Rangers at Capitals. Multiple overtimes will likely mean NBC switching the game over to another of their family of networks to get to pre-race coverage of funny hats and mint juleps.
• Saturday, May 12 could feature Game 7s in three of the four series.
Our previews will begin Friday, along with the unveiling of the Puck Daddy staff Round 2 predictions.
