Pop rock alternative rock ave indie
Just a random poll also if you want add your favourite band from that genre of music

Eg
For me it would be indie/alternative rock
Arctic monkeys and oasis
 
Well my favorite type of music is k-pop. Some of my fav groups/artists are Super Junior, DBSK, Big Bang, 2NE1, B2st, 2PM, 2AM, 4minute, SHINee and Se7en.

But apart from asian music I really love R&B, Soul and Hip-hop (Ne-yo, Claude Kelly, Drake, Eminem, Aaliyah, Brian McKnight, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Hoang, Tamia, Trey Songz, Usher, Whitney Houston, India Arie...).
