My son has a school project where they have to make/build/plan something that takes at least 10 hours. As we are in the process of building a finch aviary he thought that a nesting box would be good. some of the plans we have found are for communal nesting boxes - for martins and doves (http://www.ag.ndsu.nodak.edu/abeng/plans/6344.pdf ) - and we wanted to check if this would be ok for finches.
