Zelda Majoras Mask on Nintendo 64 problem?

Hi, I have finished the snowhead temple and am trying to get the horse now. On the third day the little girl in Romani Ranch just says she doesn't know me, and her mum doesn't say much either. What do I have to do now?? Thanks
