recently bought a blackberry pearl 8100 from suncom and it's locked. Does anyone know how to unlock a blackberry pearl 8100 and where I can get an unlocking number for my phone?

go on ebay. there are always someone there that will unlock it for about 10 bucks.
look under phones unlocking
