Is there any way to jailbreak or unlock a motorokr? ?

Our phone company has made it so that no one can make any song their ring tone unless we buy them, even if I bluetooth or get one from the internet on my phone. I can have them on my phone and listen to them but not as a ringtone, so I was hoping there is a way to fix that.
 
If it's been 90 days since you got the phone, then call customer service and ask for the unlock code. That's if it's a GSM provider.

What does the unlock code do for his problem? He wants to be able to use his own ringtones.

Emmalea - You can make your own ringtones by downloading a free and easy to use program. Go to: Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder Do not make anything past 30 secs as phones only ring for about 30 secs so anything past that would be a waste of phone memory. Also set the bit rate low, like 32. After making ringtone, you can load it into your phone by using Motorola phone tools or other programs. Load it into your phone's memory then set as ringtone.
