What is the Best American Phone Service that would work well in Europe?

I am moving to Europe for a year in September. I was planning on getting a new phone when i got over there, but my current phone is no longer working. What cell provider has the best American to Europe plan here in the US?

Go to a phone shop in town, tell them what you want, they can advise.
After choose your phone,go to any local shop and buy an unlocked one.Because you can change any carrier when you need.But cost of the unlocked phone is higher than locked phone.So better buy a locked one and unlock your mobile phone using onlinegsmunlock.com I hope it will be very useful to you
