no the sidekick lx is a hard phone to unlock. you woudnt be able to use it on another company besides T-mobile

HI usually most sidekick mobiles are locked to t-mobile network due to this they can't be used with any GSM sim until you unlock .....You first unlock your sidekick lx mobile from t-mobile network using sites like Unlocking4U.com they are providing unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost .....After unlocking your phone you can freely use it with telus or any other GSM sim in canada....
