My 1975 CB550 K, which is new to me, has this issue:
When I have it throttled up, it takes a bit of a while to go back down to idle, like the throttle is stuck. I can push on the four brass bolts across the tops of the carbs with my finger to get the idle to come right down again (I am sitting...

Any ideas about what the problem is about the engine? Any solution ideas?
Also the gas tank has a leak.
How about for the gas tank? Solutions anyone? As in how do I repair the rupture in the tank?

I recently purchased this car and although I have added many new parts it starts rough and idles too high. I rebuilt the distributer and all new wires and tune up. I am having a hard time finding parts for a car this age, just want it to look good and run smooth, doesn't have to be a Show Car...
