i was thiking about buying a 1984 scottsdale 30 4x4 one ton. it has a rebuilt moter and a rebuilt transmission with 116,000 miles on it. i do a lot of work in the mountains cuting wood and hauling heavy loads. is that a durable and reliable truck.
All brand new ignition system, fuel filter, converter, and injectors aren't leaky. This one has me stumped. I did the math 3 gallons of gas got me 18 miles before it shut down and wouldn't start which means 6 miles to the gallon. I don't understand. Any thoughts?
I'm looking to buy a trailer but would like to know what I should look for. I'm assuming I should get a 16ft dual axle. Does the trailer need to have certain tires, brakes, specific frame, ect. Thanks for any help. P.S I will be using a large truck for towing.
I bought a 4x4 2003 Nissan Frontier SC king cab a couple months ago, and it was squeaking slightly when i went over a bump or turned quickly, since I couldn't really hear it, and since it didn't seem too loud, I just ignored it. Well, less than 500 miles later, it seems the entire truck is...
My truck wont engage the four wheel drive. the shifter moves smoothly and it has a brand new actuator but it blows the fuse every time. i know its a electrical problem but what and where? is it a common problem?
I would really like to ad a little more height to my truck without a lot of dollar. Im thinking that using a 2 or 3 inch block kit in the rear then cranking up my torsion bars in the front would be easy and cheap. However I remember a buddy of mine had a block kit and every few weeks or so he...
i have a 1993 gmc 1500 with a 350 and its 4x4. i want to get better gas mileage out of it so i would like to know the best, cheapest way. i was recommended a programmer chip but i cant seem to find one, so inputs would be well appreciated.
yeah it is a great truck, extended cab short bed...
Jeep has gotten a number of things right with this new Compass. For a start, a Grand Cherokee-inspired front fascia has replaced the cutesy, on-road-only looks of the last-generation model. We heard more than one passerby mention just how handsome the new front end looks on this small Jeep. From...
This is not your granddaddy’s pick-up truck. It’s powered by a biturbocharged 3.5-liter V-6. It has an interior that wouldn’t look out of place at your local IKEA. The gear selector sits on the floor. It has air-conditioned seats for crying out loud! And navigation! Blasphemy?
after i tighten the alternator belt shortly after that the picture of the engine light came on..still been on for over a month now..checked wiring, fuel filter, air filter, egr valve, changed oil, checked alternator..is good.
went on a website that told me for the codes, but cant find the box of...
Mid size pickup. Was originally a '91 ranger. Has a TT 302-347 in it. Thing goes balls to the wall fast in a straight line. Pretty nice for 4x4in'. Has a small lift. Lots of work into the suspension and body. Borderline Pre-runner without the monster truck stance or lift.
But not as fun to...
I haven't driven it in a couple months and went to drive it yesterday. It would barely creep forward. I checked the transmission fluid and it was dry. (no sign of leak) I filled it up and now it won't go forward at all, only in reverse.
