I bought this phone from China so it's dictionary is in chinese. Only the vocabulary word that i want to look up is in English. The defination is in chinese. How can i turn that into English? I changed all my Lanugages on phone to english. Also, how to do make the phone go on vibrate

Heya, I've recently had the Nokia 5310 bought for me... and love it!! But, when I hold down the hash key "#" as on my old nokia, it doesn't automatically go onto silent?.... There is a symbol on the # key with a music note crossed out meaning silent- but it doesn't actually do it?... any help...
