I just got a new nokia 6790 surge activated on straight talk, i am in love with it, and it works great where i live ( a rare feature) but i just cant figure out why it wont send any texts. I have had no problems with calls or recieving texts but i just cant send any back

Trying to decide between these two phones to use with straight talk they are the only smart phones available in my area

I've been looking at a newer phone. Straight Talk has great phones. But I'd rather not pay $30-$45 a month to use it. TracFone and Straight Talk are the same company just different names and plans. Im curious if I get a Nokia 6790 can I switch SIM cards or jailbreak it to work on the tracfone...
