I am able to use the apps when I turn off mobile services and only connected to my wifi. I am able to use the browser with mobile on because i changed it to hot spot browser. I was wondering if i will be able to use the apps with mobile servies on. i do not have a data plan but i have wifi.

can anybody tell me that what's the different between the bold 9700 and the bold 9780 ?

When I go to Options icon - Advanced Options - Browser to change it from hotspot browser to internet browser (its a drop down menu) it wont let me. A black rectangle just appears around it. All the other menus on the blackberry work so its not the keypad or a frozen screen or anything. Please help..
