I've been learning Japanese for a few years from my classmates/neighbors who are from Japan. I can pronounce most sounds fairly easy now except for the Japanese R. I can't do an English or a Japanese R because my accent doesn't have the same clear sound. So like if I say something like "Shira"...

no offense to any scottish or irish people that might answer this Q btw, but to me, they sound funny. Drew McIntyre actually sounds like he's trying hard to use the accent, like its fake, but surprisingly, I found out not long after he debuted that he really was scottish.
