archos

I have had an archos av700 for around 3 years now and as always technology is improving and it is no longer the top product. I am considering buying one of the new tempting products from them but obviously don't want to throw away this £450 worth of equipment. What should I do with it will shops...

Is there any way you can use the Sim card for the iPhone on the new Archos Internet Tablet?

i am asking if you can just download an avi movie as a torrent off of the internet and just put it on the mp4 or do you have to convert the file and is xvid and avi the same.

My tv has only one scart socket, and the V+ Box is plugged into that When I tried plugging the DVR Station into the tv instead of the V+, with the OUT scart going to the V+, the V+ wouldn't transmit

I am thinking about getting either an archos 5 or 7 internet tablet and alls I want to know is if I would be able to go onto YIM or AIM. No, I wouldn't rather have an Ipod touch or the nokia device. I just want to know about IMing on the archos devices.

I'm trying to help my dad copy some of his favourite DVD's onto his archos and neither of us are technical minded! It says you can record from a video recorder but nothing about dvds, but the VCR is so outdated so I don't understand! The Archos is a new gadget. Does anyone know how to do this...

i bought the web tv and radio plug in and dont know if they will send the download codes throough the mail or if they send it trough email or if you just download it staraight from the computer

Is it possable to download content straight from the internet on the archos 5? If so do you need any special addons to do it?
