I've heard that ares is a free site where you can get music for free. but i just downloaded it onto my computer and it pulled up with this thing that said i had to register and that the price for it was like over 7 dollars. did i download the wrong site or what is going on? is it really a free site?

that wouldn't connect either? i have tried adding exceptions to the firewall and shutting the firewall off completely but still no connection. any thoughts on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated

i downloaded ares a couple of weeks ago but i decide i didn't want it any more. what i always do when i delete a program is go to the control panel and remove it so i did the same for ares. but for some reason the little ares icon is still at the bottom right of my computer. how do i get rid of it?
