I am in need of a car and my uncle's neighbor is selling a Avalon for 1,200 dollars the only thing is that it has 200,000 miles on it.It also has a leak from the power steering and needs a tune-up. What are some problems that I could run into and would you buy this car?

can be several things . your car has a brake sensor that wont let you taqke it out of park unless the brake is applied ... around the shifter there is a lilcover that has a shift interlock over ride all you do is stick a key in there move to neautral then start and carry on . check your manual...
