I got a samsung B3410 and when I go to send a pic via email it doesn't send and says unable to access server what does it mean? how can I fix it to send pics off phone via email

When i send stuff to my computer from my old phone it works but when i send stuff from my Samsung b3410, it keeps failing half way from the send???? Why is this happening ???

I cant work out how to change the picture on the unlock screen. At the moment it shows a different one of the default pictures every time I unlock it and some of the default pictures are lame so how do I set it to one of my own pictures?
