    I have somewhat little bandwidth, when i play xbox live im very laggy; so is there a way where i can make more bandwidth go towards my xbox than on my computer? I have a 2wire router

    Does using messenger use up more bandwidth than normal internet browsing?

    Just wondered as the internet seems to slow down for me when my colleague is on messenger, is it my imagination or does messenger take up the capacity?

    Internet bandwidth question ?

    I live in japan and as I remember the bandwidth of my internet connection is ~40MBps. So it should be about 5 Mega-bytes per second right? But the maximum bandwidth I've seen so far is ~1Megabyte.But most of the time its about 200-300 Kilobytes persecond! Any ideas?

    Launching a satellite is not in our budget. Are there companies that lease the use of their satellites the way a web hosting company leases it's servers and lines?
