I keep getting new windows opening, it has only just started happening and have up to date virus stuff (Avast). Has anyone got any ideas how to stop this?

already off. what gives? I have set my security settings lower, downloaded the newest java, and checked that all microsoft updates are installed. Running XP SP2, fully updated. any ideas?

It wont let me even use anonymizers or proxys. The website tells you nothing. I know it was something that was downloaded but i cant find it on any drives.

ok, at our public library the computers are blocked to all things like facebook, myspace, ect. and when I try to go to the command prompt, not only is it not there but all the start menu does it go to the menu to shut down/restart/ect. and I can't access wordpad to save the batch file to open...
