brightness

sometimes when im writing a text the brightness just does darker than back to light its only slight chance, wondered if its normal?

I hate this thing. So many flaws. Cant wait to get my ATT TILT back. Please tell me if theres a way to adjust the brightness on this garbage. Thanks
