I have just replaced the Vista with a XP Pro on my new pc. When I am gonna burn some media, it keeps telling me that required driver is missing, can't continue. I went to the manufacturer's website and download the drive file but I am unsure of what to do now? Any idea about this?

It's new...can it be something wrong with the computer itself?? it burns dvd's good, but I tried burning a music cd through itunes and at the end it said there was an error attempting burning the disc, what's up with that????

I try to burn/copy my music with real player and AVS converter. Both say external dvd/cd drive is not powered on. What the heck does that mean. Does anyone know what I have to do to fix this issue. Real Player is not good in explaining or assistance. Thanks.

I have a lot of AVI files on my computer that I would like to burn to DVDs. Any suggestions on a solid DVD burner and how would I go about putting AVIs onto a DVD.

My computer is IDE, but I mistakenly bought a SATA. I'm looking for a quick solution other than sending it back.

I use XP and it is a new Optiarc burner. It will burn fine, then with no reason, another day, the pc has to be restarted to get it to recognize there even is a burner of any type. I sometimes can use Microsoft "mat's DVD mechanic", to reset it, but not always.
