We got a phone call earlier saying that they wanted to see if our internet was working, and we were given a number to call if we needed it and told that it was all bell certified, the person would have an ID and a uniform and whatnot. I'm still extremely suspicious of this as they've never done...

...when it is unlocked? my friend gave me a blackberry curve, and it says "SOS" at the top right corner where the carrier should be. when I put my Telus SIM card in, the sos remains, and the phone doesn't connect to the Telus network... I'm pretty sure that the phone is unlocked, however...
