    how much Carbon Fibre cloth would it take to make a road bike frame?

    I am looking at building my own carbon fibre frame for a road bike, and was wondering roughly how much CF cloth i would need. The supplier has cloth that is roughly 1.3m wide, but a length of 3m cost $240 and i am on a very tight budget... any help would be much appreciated.

    in my text book, it shows the carbon atom in a c=c double bond as having a dumb

    bell above and bellow as p? orbital. But this is confusing me, because I thought that only one electron per carbon atom went into forming a pi bond. Why is it drawn like this? what exactly is it? thanks
