Do I need a data plan when I use an unlocked CDMA phone on Verizon network? I've been told that you can use data through wifi but I do not want to purchase the phone before I know that I do not need the data package.

Well I want to cancel my contract, its about 2/3rds done. I have a palm pre and when I popped the battery open there was no sim card. I would really like to use my palm but use rogers service. If I cancel am I going to be stuck with a phone that I cant use?

I am traveling abroad to Italy and was told to buy a SIM card to avoid roaming charges. I tossed my manual over 2 years ago when I got this phone, a Motorola KRZR K1m. It has a microSD chip slot, but I do not see a sim card anywhere, not underneath the battery or anywhere else. Do some phones...
