I already know that it costs $37 to get the timing chain and I began to look in to doing it my self but i was reading the directions and it said that if I was even off by one tooth that my engine would be damaged. so I don't really want to risk that. can anyone tell me how much it will cost to...

and derailleurs seem fine...? i should say that it spins, but not when you spin the pedals. It's not just that the chain is off because the gears move when the pedals are turned. I think there might be something wrong with the back sprockets or the wheel itself. help? thanks
