My friends and I are arguing over weather it's a sport or not. I think it isn't they think it is.
Really it's just a competition not a sport. Gymastics is a different story.

I am short for my age! I tryed out for Cheerleading when I was of age required. I GOT IT!! I weigh very little...so of course I'm a flyer. But when I get up there I start to shake!! My coach says I have very high jumps and a great smile! I can do a cradle... So what would help me up in the air:)...
Like would I be able just to say my words clearly and everybody else already yells? Like is it a requirement to yell?
Like if you smiled and were cheerful you just didn't yell!
I was at a cheerleading competition yesterday and theres an all star team called Prairie Fire, but they were placed in the elementary division. There was this one team was really good, great stunts, very sharp dances, and they were all smiling. I thought for sure they would win. Then, out of 10...
right now, i'm 14. and, either in 9th or 10th grade i'd like to do cheerleading. i can do the splits, a back tuck, front tuck, cart wheel, back hand spring, front hand spring. thats it. i've never tried lifting someone in the air, or being threw into the air. im not very strong. so, i dont know...

I was wondering what the basic skills needed to make it are.
(Tumbling, jumps, etc.)
