before getting a chihuahua, any things i might need other than typical things like leads and a bed, food etc...? Thanks :-)
also will the chi be ok with a labrador?i know labs wont harm dogs but will the chihuahua be scared because they are fairly big?

I want to get a chihuahua mix puppy because according to the vets they live the longest. I also want to get her from a BREEDER, not a rescue, because I want to make sure her parents are health-certified so she won't have genetic issues. I am looking for a mix that looks like a mini border...

i got a long haired chihuahua last week! he is constantly trying to get attention, he whines when we put him in his cage at night, although he is getting better now and sleeping through, but as soon as he wakes he whines, he then also whines when we are eating, or to be picked up, and is always...
Oh and just so everyone knows, he was never tortured when we got him. We got him from the pet store. Again, we are always with him the moment we get home from work/school he is either out back with our other dogs or he comes inside with us. He's in most of the time but prefers being outside...
