Whenever i turn on my phone, it stays on for about 5 minutes and then the screen goes black and if you try to press any buttons it doesn't light up or do anything so i have to take the battery out and then turn it on again but it keeps doing this?

I have an ipod classic with all of my music on it, my computer recently crashed and i have no more music on my itunes. If i was to back up my ipod on itunes, when I get an iphone 4 would i be able to transfer it to it??
