Some that have the same features or better features that are cheaper....if you cant think of any, then do you know of any cameras that would be good for a beginner photographer?

I got a cybershot a few days ago, doesn't tell me shit about any sound things about recording movies, so i switch to the "record movies with sound", i record, and there is no sound when i play it back on my cam, computer, or TV.. and i went to menu and the sound input is at normal.. help? :(
