    Can 2 laptops detect each other without any internet if they are close together?

    Im going on a long bus trip and wanted to know if I could connect to this kids laptop and play some games. If both our laptops have like a wireless detection thing, could it connect our laptops so we can play something? we're trying to figure out if there is a way to do this without bringing cords
