i am planning on buying a sony ericsson xperia, but i hear from my friend that these phones are uncompetable with earphones or headphones that are made for products from apple such as bose or beats, is this true? If it is, is it possible to be made competeble by jail breaking it or sth?

I need sum nice head phones with volume and mic. That sounds as well as the skullcandy headphones. Any ideas? But no over the top expensive stuff.

...unplugged them.? I can't hear anything when I make a phone call, and when I try putting the volume up during the call it just raises and lowers the "earpiece" volume i can't find a way to fix this. HELP!

I can get the iPod Nano through AirMiles Rewards, but I want to use my good on-the-ear headphones instead of the ones that come with it. I need to know ahead of time that the iPod Nano uses a standard stereo plug. That info is not on the Apple website.

This was probably asked a lot. I am positively sure it's not the earphones. When I plug the earphones in the laptop, it works perfectly. When I play the music w/ out the headphones, the sound from the itouch 3g comes out perfectly... I can barely hear the singer's voice and the instruments...

My headphones used to be fine but now even when the volume is turned up to full they wont play music unless the plug is pushed in and held there really tight, once you let go the music stops. The phone still recognises they are being plugged in and it still charges like normal. Does anyone know...

the bit where the earphone plugs into the adapter is crappy, it is loose, and the slightest movement causes my earphone to lose connection. is there any adapter out there where the earphone actually clicks into place, and is actually good? please tell me if there is so. dont say use an ipod...
